A children’s inpatient and critical care team is seeking a Board Eligible/Board-Certified Pediatric Intensivist to join its experienced team at an acute-care hospital in the Charleston, SC area. This permanent opportunity offers a well-supported 6-bed PICU, Level III NICU support, a flexible call schedule, and opportunities to work alongside an established multidisciplinary team. Current fellows and experienced physicians are encouraged to apply!

Requirements of the Pediatric Intensivist

• Board Certified or Board Eligible (Eligibility within 5 years of residency) in Pediatric Critical Care OR Pediatric Cardiology with an additional year of CICU training, OR double-boarded in Pediatric Critical Care and Cardiology
• Completed U.S.-Accredited Pediatric Residency
• South Carolina Medical License or Eligibility to Obtain
• DEA Registration (must be obtained prior to start)
• South Carolina Controlled Substance Registration (CSR/CDS) (must be obtained prior to start)
• Clean Malpractice and Medical License History – Highly Preferred
• Must Reside in the Immediate Local Area; Relocation May Be Required
• Not Accepting Locum Tenens or Visa Candidates
