Now hiring a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner for a well-established private pediatric practice in Paterson, New Jersey. This is a strong opportunity for providers seeking outpatient pediatrics, a flexible schedule, and true work-life balance within a long-standing, community-focused group that will expand with 4 or 5 more exam rooms and clinical staff in the future.

Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Position Details – Paterson, NJ

Join a Private Pediatric Group Practice (Established for 31+ Years )

• Hiring 2nd Nurse Practitioner
• Fast-paced outpatient pediatric setting
• 2-story facility with plans to expand to 4–5 additional exam rooms and future staffing growth
• EMR: eClinicalWorks with AI scribe technology
• LabCorp onsite lab collection (specimens sent out)
• Affiliated with St. Joseph’s; owner has privileges with Hackensack

Schedule & Clinical Details for the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

• Scheduling Options: Full-time (5 days/week) or part-time (2–3 days/week)
• Office hours: Monday–Friday, 9:30 AM–6:30 PM
• No hospital duties – no hospital rounding or C/D attendances
• Outpatient-only call coverage – only when covering another physician’s absence (very minimal)
• Large Spanish-speaking patient population; Spanish fluency preferred, not required
• Currently closed on weekends, with potential future expansion to rotating Saturday half days

Compensation & Benefits

Full-Time Compensation

• $120,000–$130,000 base salary (negotiable upon experience)

Part-Time Compensation (Negotiable Upon Experience and Hours)

• 2 days/week (~16 hrs): ~$48,000
• 3 days/week (~24 hrs): ~$72,000

• Negotiable PTO + paid federal holidays
• CME time negotiable based on PTO structure

Requirements of the Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

• Active Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (APRN) certification (Preference in Primary Care Pediatrics)
  • PNP only
• Eligible for or currently holding a New Jersey medical license
• Spanish fluency preferred, not required
• Previous experience not required: Open to experienced providers and 2026 new graduate NPs (pediatrics preferred)
