Child Abuse Pediatrician Opportunity

• Full-Time, Permanent Position Offering Excellent Opportunities for Inpatient and Outpatient Clinical Child Abuse Practice
• Currently 2 Physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Providers – 1 Physician Retiring
• Competitive Starting Salary (Negotiable Upon Experience)
• Experienced Staff, Great Team Environment
• Research Opportunities Available
• Call Center Will Receive Calls and Triage and ER Takes Visits
• No Night Call!
• Weekdays Monday-Thursday – Call 1 Day; On Call for Inpatient Consults and Acute Add-Ons in Clinic

• Open to Experienced Physicians, 2027 & 2028 Fellowship Graduates

Job Duties of the Child Abuse Pediatrician

• Types of Patients Include Neglect, Physical/Sexual Abuse, Medical Abuse, Drug Endangerment, Witnessed Violence
• Focus on Comprehensive Medical Evaluation
• SCAN Consults (Suspected Child Abuse and Neglect) –Inpatient Consults are provided 7 Days a Week to Anyone in the Hospital
• In-Patient Coverage is Shared Between 2 Physicians (1:2)

Requirements of the Child Abuse Pediatrician

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified/Eligible
• Completed Pediatric Residency
• Have/Will Complete Child Abuse Fellowship
• Current Fellows and Experienced Child Abuse Pediatricians Encouraged to Apply!
