Now Hiring a Pediatric Nephrologist in Marshfield, Wisconsin!

20 Days Vacation with 6 1/2 Paid Holidays – Up to $10K Relocation Allowance – Low Call Volume

This established health system in Marshfield, Wisconsin, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Nephrologist to provide inpatient and outpatient care for children with kidney conditions. Join an onsite team of a physician, MA, and RN. Starting salary of approximately $261,000 for the first two years, H-1B and 2028 J-1 visa support, and no procedures required.

Pediatric Nephrologist Position

• Permanent full-time (1.0FTE)
• Providing care for infants, children and teenagers with hypertension, acute and chronic kidney disease, congenital and inherited abnormalities of the kidneys, kidney stones, metabolic diseases involving the kidney and renal cystic diseases. Our nephrologists treat many conditions in both inpatient and outpatient settings including:
  • Acute and chronic kidney disease
  • Nephrotic Syndrome
  • Bardet-Biedl syndrome
  • Cystic kidney disease
  • Dialysis
  • High blood pressure
  • Kidney stones
  • Urinary Tract Infection (UTI)
  • Kidney transplant care
  • Protein in the urine
  • Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome
  • Hydronephrosis
  • Congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract
  • Vesicoureteral reflux (VUR)
• No procedures in-office!
• Average daily patient volume: 3-5/day (approximately 400 unique patients this past year)
• Schedule is typically M-F 8a-5p, with lunch 12-1p (can be slightly flexible) and 36 in-person hours/week
• Call after hours/weekends are minimal with a 24 hours nurse line
• Well established patient base, outpatient pediatric primary and specialty care is co-located. Diagnosis list is very diverse.
• Collaboration with Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin, UW Health, Children’s Minnesota
• $100,000 Retention Incentive Available

Requirements of the Pediatric Nephrologist

• Doctor of Medicine (MD)/Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
• Board Certified/Eligible
• Has Completed a Pediatric Residency Program
• Has/Will Complete Fellowship Training in Pediatric Nephrology
• 2027 Grad Fellows and Experienced Physicians Encouraged to Apply!
