Full-Time or Part-Time Pediatrician needed at a private practice in Rockaway Park NY

Now hiring a General Pediatrician in Rockaway Park, Queens, NY. This expanding private group practice has a 100% patient attendance rate and 100% outpatient duties in a beautiful beach community of growing families. This position provides work-life balance, competitive compensation ranges, and no inpatient duties.

 

General Pediatrician Opportunity Highlights

  • Full-time opportunity with 4-day work week option (approximately 32 hours/week) or part-time schedule (16-24 hours/week)
  • Competitive salary: $180,000-$225,000, commensurate with experience
  • Part-time compensation offered on an equivalent pro-rated basis
  • 100% outpatient position with no rounding or hospital responsibilities
  • Minimal phone call coverage shared with nurse triage line
  • Dedicated medical assistant support
  • Partnership opportunity available, but not required
  • Comprehensive benefits package for full-time providers
  • Growing practice with plans for additional exam rooms in the near future
  • Open to all levels of experience, from 2026 graduates to experienced pediatricians
  • Immediate need
  • Beachfront Queens community with a growing number of young families

Requirements of the General Pediatrician

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO)
  • Board Certified in Pediatrics
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-residency clinical experience required due to immediate need
  • Participation in shared call schedule required
  • Active, unrestricted New York medical license (or in process)
  • Ability to begin employment within 45 days of an offer strongly preferred
